FOOTPATHS
Our Parish Paths Warden has done a great deal of work looking at the paths and bridleways throughout our Parish. Several stiles are in need of repair or are suitable for changing to gates for easier access.
If you are aware of a path/stile that requires attention please contact the Clerk in the first instance.

Skateboard Park - a well used facility for the young people.
Clent is unique with its Trim Trail for use of everyone, old and young alike.
Heart Start used it for an example of how to keep fit and avoid heart attacks!
The site is situated off Pool Furlong in a beautiful setting with views to the Malvern Hills, Clee Hills and the Abberley Hills.
There are eleven pieces of equipment with a Data Board to explain how to use them and it recommends the order in which to tackle the items.
On this site is also a Multi Purpose Goal to practice Basket Ball etc.
The Council received a request from the young people of the Parish for a BMX Track. Following a site vist to the BMX Track at Cookley, the Council has now asked for a visit from an expert in the field to look at the area within the Recreation Site. It is a requirement of the Council's insurance company that, if a track is installed, it is done professionally. The Council has received a report and quotation from SN Jenks, but have resolved to delay a decison due to the problems being encountered at the site. Drink bottles, litter and glass have all be foun at the site together withgrafitti on the skate board equipment. An application for a grant has been sent to BDC, but the Council has not yet received its decision..

This 6 3/4 acre site was purchased from Bass Brewery in 1984 which co-incided with the Centenary of the formation of the Parish Council. The vendors sold the land at a very special price, because the intention of the Council was, that it should be used for additional recreational facilities for the Parish.
Work is continuing on the Infill project, but due to scarcity of suitable inert material this is taking longer than at first anticipated.
