St Leonards Church Catholic Church

Some might say that the heart of the village is St. Leonard's Square with its imposing feature of .  A Church has stood on the site since 1199, which is the date of the first known incumbent.  The current Vicar is Rev. Barbara Mapley – 01562-730531.

Clent is also fortunate to have its own Catholic Church, St Wulstan & St. Oswald.  This Church is quite unique having been a Malt House and was offered to the Catholic Church in 1926 by Mr Clement Woodward, the owner of Green Farm at the behest of his mother in law, Mrs Elizabeth Cutler. The building was opened for worship in 1927.

Originally a barn built in the massive style of the Elizabethan period, but bearing traces of a more ancient period it has beautiful oak beams shewing black with the passing of the centuries.

Services are held each Sunday at 9.30a.m.
